Step By Step Instructions For Making A Doc McStuffins Ornament
If you make all five Doc McStuffins ornaments, you will have enough to make a small themed Christmas tree for your daughter or son who wants to be a doctor like “Doc” when he or she grows up. Or, choose your favorite character toy to make.

Step 1: Carefully remove the ornament cap from the glass ball ornament. Pour some of the base paint inside the ornament and swirl around until completely coated. Add paper snow to the paint for Lambie to give her a textured look. Let the Doc McStuffins ornament dry.
Step 2: While the ornaments are drying in step 1, you can cut the embellishments from the felt.
Doc McStuffins Ornament
Make braids out of the brown felt and use a pipe cleaner piece to keep them stiff. We show you the front and the back of the braids. Cut a headband from the purple felt and a pink flower from the pink glitter foam.
Lambie (Doc McStuffins Ornament)
Cut ears from the white felt and the center of the ears from the pink felt. Cut the bow from the pink felt and cinch in the center, either with glue or with a small strip of the pink felt like we did here.
Chilly (Doc McStuffins Ornament)
Cut a circle from the black felt to use as a base for the hat, cutting a circle out of the middle that will fit over the top of the ornament cap. Cut a rectangular piece of the black felt and secure together with glue. Then glue that to the circle to make the snowman’s top hat. Glue a strip of green ribbon as the hat band. Cut two pieces of blue felt to make the scarf. Fringe the two ends of one piece and glue to the band of the other. Paint stripes with light blue paint.
Hallie (Doc McStuffins Ornament)
Cut two ears and two nostrils out of the purple felt. Cut two teeth and a small rectangle out of the white felt. Glue the white felt piece to a small piece of pipe cleaner, along the bottom edge. Glue red ribbon towards to the top of the white felt piece and you now have the nurses hat. Bend the red pipe cleaner into a pair of glasses.
Stuffy (Doc McStuffins Ornament)
Cut two nostrils and two dragon ears from the blue felt, making sure that you leave extra felt on the end of the dragon ears. Wrap the extra felt on the dragon ears around a small piece of pipe cleaner and secure them with glue.
Step 3: Replace the ornament caps on the Doc McStuffins ornaments. Paint the outside face colors for Lambie and Hallie, the hair on Doc and nose on Chilly and glue on all of the felt embellishments on the characters. Let them dry.
Step 4: Using the paint markers, draw their faces on. Let them dry.
Step 5: Tie ribbons to the top for hanging. You may want to use different colors for each of the different characters represented on your Doc McStuffins ornaments.
