King Kong is the mythical giant ape monster that has been scaring moviegoers since his first big screen presence in 1933. On Friday, March 10th, movie fans will again be able to see this colossal gorilla in action on Skull Island. With a lack of new stories being generated in Hollywood, prequels rather than sequels are now reigning as king.
Skull Island is an apt name for this movie starring King Kong. To preview, the movie is set in 1971, in which Skull Island is inhabited by the Iwi natives who worship Kong as a king and god. As most of these sci-fi movies go, it is a battle for domination over Skull Island against monstrous predators nicknamed Skullcrawlers. Celebrate this monumental movie with a DIY King Kong ornament. Easy and fun to make with only a few supplies needed.
