How To Make New Year Resolutions Ornaments
Get a group of friends together and make New Year Resolutions Ornaments. Then, in December, gather the same group of friends, crack the ornaments open and see who accomplished their goals…and who fell a bit short!
Supplies to make a New Year Resolutions ornament:
- Clear glass ball ornament
- Colored paper
- Scissors
- Pen
- Shake glitter or “snow”
- Paint markers
- Ribbon
Step 1: Using the pen, write your new year resolutions on colored paper and cut into strips. Wind the strips around your pen to curl them.
Step 2: Carefully remove the cap from your glass ball ornament and feed the new year resolutions through the opening.
Step 3: Shake some glitter in for a little pizzazz and bling. Replace the cap back on the ornament.
Step 4: Tie a ribbon in a bow on the top, for a festive look.
Step 5: Using paint markers, the year on the outside of the glass ball ornament, or, attach a tag with your name written on it to the ornament to personalize it!
That’s it! Now you have your very own New Year Resolutions Ornament!
If you are holding a contest among your friends to see who accomplishes their goals and new year resolutions, make sure to glue the caps closed on the ornaments to prevent any cheating! Or, use colored glass balls so you can’t see what anyone puts inside and smash them open with a hammer in 2017!
