These unique super recipes will crank up the energy of your super bowl party.  Here is what you need to make the coffee rub for the Seattle Slider:

Seattle Slider Super Bowl Recipes Ingredients:

  • 1 Tbsp freshly ground coffee (preferable a dark roast)
  • 2 tsp brown sugar firmly packed
  • 2 tsp freshly ground black pepper
  • ½ tsp ground coriander
  • ½ tsp dried oregano
  • ½ tsp finely ground sea salt

Combine ingredients and sprinkle onto tops of burgers as you are cooking them on the grill. Make sure you add more rub when you flip the burger. The best accompaniments for these super bowl burgers are bacon, smoked provolone cheese, red onion and tomato.

To make the traditional Boston baked beans used to top this great New England Slider, you will need to start a day ahead of time, but it’s worth the effort for the super bowl:

New England Slider Super Bowl Recipes Ingredients:

  • 2 c. navy beans
  • ½ lb. bacon
  • 1 finely diced onion
  • 3 Tbsp molasses
  • 2 tsp salt
  • ¼ tsp freshly ground black pepper
  • ¼ tsp dry mustard
  • ½ c. ketchup
  • 1 Tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • ¼ c. brown sugar firmly packed
  1. Soak the beans overnight in cold water, then simmer in that same water until tender, 1 – 2 hours, drain and reserve the liquid.
  2. Put beans in a 2qt casserole dish and later with bacon and onions.
  3. In saucepan, combine the rest of the ingredients and bring to a boil. Pour over beans in casserole dish. Pour bean water on top, but just enough to cover the beans.
  4. Cover dish with a lid or aluminum foil. Bake at 325 degrees for 3 – 4 hours. Remove lid half way through cooking and add more bean water if needed to prevent drying.

Grill your super bowl slider burgers to perfection, then top with cheddar cheese and onions. Pour the super bowl recipes baked beans on top for a winning combination!
