NFL Football Touchdown Taco Dip
Ingredients for our favorite of all game day recipes:
8 oz. cream cheese
1 can Hormel chili with no beans
3-4 green onions, sliced
2 cups shredded taco cheese or Mexican cheese blend
Tortilla chips
Step 1: Evenly spread the cream cheese across the bottom of a microwaveable ceramic 1 quart dish.
Step 2: Layer the chili over the cream cheese.
Step 3: Sprinkle the green onions over the layer of chili.
Step 4: Completely cover the top with the shredded cheese.
Step 5: Microwave for 4-5 minutes until cheese is melted and bubbly.
Serve it up with your favorite tortilla chips!
NFL Football Safety Sliders
Ingredients for this yummy game day dish:
2 lbs ground beef
Salt and pepper to taste
4 Tbsp butter
1 large onion, diced
½ cup whiskey
1 cup bbq sauce
Slider buns
Step 1: Make slider patties and sprinkle with salt and pepper.
Step 2: Melt the butter in a skillet and cook up the sliders.
Step 3: Remove the pan from the heat.
Step 4: Reserving 2 Tbsp of the grease from the sliders, add onions and whiskey. Return to the heat and cook until the whiskey is reduced by half.
Step 4: Mix in the bbq sauce.
Step 5: Reduce the heat and simmer sliders in the sauce, coating them completely.
Serve them up on slider buns!
NFL Football Field Goal Franks
Ingredients:
4 packaged of 16oz. cocktail sausages
1 cup red currant jelly
1 cup Dijon style mustard
¼ cup ketchup
¾ cup brown sugar
Step 1: Mix all ingredients together in a slow cooker.
Step 2: Add cocktail sausages and coat them with the sauce.
Step 3: Simmer for 2 hours.
Serve them up on toothpicks!
